walking where the path leads
there is something about a path that calls to me
something about an up hill grade, a few rocks
a cloudless sky
that beckons
some folks need a road map
they need to know
where the turns will be
how many speed bumps
they will encounter
me
I just need sturdy boots
and my hiking poles
and a place to start
what is coming
is coming
whether I can see it up ahead
or not
so you will find me
just walking wherever the path
leads

Same with me. What use the maps for me?
gautami
sounds a bit like life.....
This essentially is a metaphor for life... nice write!
Nice use of the metaphor here.
good attitude to both moutnain climbs and life
I'm with you......a pair of sturdy boots, some terrain and I will find my way to wherever.
enjoy your next journey.......a path only becomes a path if one walks on it. :)
Such peacefulness in this poem!
The photo and your words present a soothing and positive walk. Very nice!
i need to adopt this attitude.
and love your photo!
